The carved signage includes main building IDs, location IDs, various donor recognition, museum signage and quotations as well as founder recognition.
For the first time an experiment was turned into a new style by carving into structural concrete. The aggregate was exposed though a deep V-groove cut, contrasting with the regular grey of the concrete surace. A color enhancement was applied to bring out the effect. The same was tried successfully on the interior by cutting shallow U-groove letters into drywall. The exterior granite was also used for signage.
