SOKA University

SOKA University is the most recent, from the ground up newly built university campus in California.  It is a private, non-profit, four-year liberal arts college and graduate school located on 103-acres in Aliso Viejo, CA.  The hand carved and gold leafed signage in Travertine included large letters created in lofty heights.

Carving work included numerous building IDs and quotation walls.  Letters were to be carved in a shallow V-groove to support the reflection properties of gold leaf, filling travertine holes of carved letters to create a smooth letter stroke surface and gold leafing of such letters with 23 3/4 Karat Rosenoble Gold Leaf.
